I am going to show you how to find a hot list for your specific state. This hot list is a list of numbers that will hit soon. This is your “watch list.” These are the numbers you pay attention to. This is a list that you cross reference with other lists (DTD, Code-3, Due Pairs, etc) on the Group Matching System (GMS) to find matching numbers. This list may or it may not have Power Numbers.

I am going to use information provided by us-lotteries.com to find two lists of 40 numbers each. I will use North Carolina as an example. I am going to go to the “Boxes Analysis” page to get the information I need. Below is a link to the page I am referring to plus a screenshot of the two charts I will be using to get the numbers I will be using.

First, let me explain what I am doing here. I am going to find the hottest numbers in North Carolina using information provided by this wonderful site. That information is provided in the chart on the left:  Frequencies of Non-repeating Boxes. This chart tells you how many times each box number has hit in the Pick 3 game in North Carolina.  The numbers are arranged in the chart from the least drawn numbers (on top of the list) to the hottest numbers that have hit the most times (on the bottom of the list).  And based on this chart, as of February 17, 2014 the hottest number in North  Carolina is 236 which has hit 44 times. The next most frequently drawn number in the history of the Pick 3 game in North Carolina is 035 which has hit 43 times. The next hottest number is 149 which has hit 42 times, and so forth.

Now I am going to list the 40 hottest numbers on this list.

Below are the hottest numbers for North Carolina as of Monday, February 17, 2014.

Now the second list. The second list will be the 40 most due numbers in North Carolina right now. These numbers are on the chart on the right: Last appearance of Non-repeating Boxes. Look at the top of the chart. This chart tells you that 258 is the coldest number right now; it hit 613 drawings ago. The next coldest number is 148; it hit 603 drawings ago. Next in line is 367 which hit 593 drawings ago. Below is the complete list of the 40 most due numbers in North Carolina right now:

These are 10 hot numbers due to hit North Carolina soon. Why? Because they are the hottest numbers that have NOT hit in a while. Therefore, they SHOULD hit soon. If a number has the “habit” of hitting frequently, and it has not hit recently, it means one thing; it will hit soon.

That’s the basic theory here; hot numbers that have not hit recently will hit soon.

As a general rule, take your hot list and match it up with the Power Numbers on the GMS:

So you would use the regular programs to see which of the 10 numbers (014 036 079 128 148 167 289 467 567 568) is most likely to hit next.

How To Create a “Hotter” List

You can find an even hotter (and shorter) list by using LESS numbers.

For an even hotter list; do a 20 X 20 match; match the 20 hottest numbers with the 20 coldest numbers.

For example, the hottest 20 numbers here are 159 025 148 257 129 135 049 158 469 134 468 024 028 179 357 189 678 149 035 236 and the 20 coldest numbers are 258 148 367 489 089 136 067 147 278 256 058 568 138 467 125 348 459 124 389 379.

If we match them up on the Group Matching System, we get:

If I played North  Carolina numbers, I would be all over this number. I would look out for it on the DTD program every day. I may even play it every day until it hits.

Now find the Hot List for your State

Write out the top 40 numbers (hottest and coldest) and match these 80 numbers on the Group Matching System. Write down the 2-way matching list somewhere and watch those numbers very carefully because I bet you that 1, 2, or 3 of them will hit your state soon.

By the way, I feel more comfortable having 2 or 3 hot numbers instead of just one. Putting all your eggs on one basket is not safe. I would redo the North Carolina numbers and use a 30 X 30 workout to come up with a few more numbers.
