I got a corporation started a few years ago and instantly started getting offers from banks for loans and credit cards. I started my company and everything was great….but I got into financial difficulties, COVID hit, and my credit went south. I am in the process of rebuilding my credit now to jump back in the game (I am using Lexington Law for this…see here). Below are 8 Strategies you can use to start a business and to quickly qualify for a $5,000 or $10,000 business loan.

1-The FIRST step is building your personal credit. Let me be blunt; you MUST have good credit (in the 700 to 750 range) for this to work. Eventually the banks will just look at the credit of your corporation (Paydex) – but when you start out, your personal credit means everything. So take care of this first. 2-Next, look at this as a big jigsaw puzzle. Break it up into smaller pieces. Look at ONE piece at a time.

Watch several videos on YouTube on just ONE piece until you understand it completely. For starters, watch several videos that teach you what NAME to give your business. Go HERE for these videos.

3-Then you can watch videos that explain how to get in EIN number.

4-Then look at another piece of the puzzle. For example, how to register for Dun and Bradstreet…Go here for these videos.

5-Then you can look at how to build business credit. Go here for these videos.

6-Just write out what you don’t understand on the top search box of YouTube to get several videos on that topic.

For example: “how to add trade line to my business account”

Or “how to register my business.”

In time you will understand the process enough to start your (first) small business. The goal of your first business is just to get your feet wet and to quickly get your hands on a small loan ($5,000).
