Here is a strategy you can use to come up with just ONE box number to play (which you can then convert to 6 straight numbers). It can take a while for this number to hit (a few weeks…or even a month or two)…but it WILL eventually hit (for quick hits, use strategy #4 below).

1-Enter the last 400 Pick 3 numbers that hit your state into the POWER 5 program to get the 5 Power Numbers.

2-Remove any number that has a 6 or a 9. For example, the 5 Power numbers for NY right now are: 236 248 256 279 459. Four of the numbers have a 6 or a 9: 236, 256, 279, 459. REMOVE these from the list.

In this case, the one number to play is easy to identify: 248.

WHY remove numbers with a 6 or a 9?

Because of Rule 69 – This Rule says that 6s tend to flip and hit as 9s and 9s tend to flip and hit as 6s. This means that if you really like 256 in New York (it’s a good number), you better play 259 as well.

If you play 236, also play 239.
If you play 279, also play 276.
If you lay 459, also play 456.

3-When you have more than one number with no 6s of 9s (example: 024, 135, 248, 347, 458, 578, etc.) use the HOT and COLD pairs to narrow down your list to just one number to play.

I did this for VIRGINIA HERE. The 5 Power Numbers for VA right now are: 129 145 157 258 268 – I was able to reduce it down to just one number: 157 (NO 6s or 9s, Hot Pairs 17 and 57). When looking at the pairs, pay more attention to the HOT pairs.

4-Get the ONE number for Several States (play several states simultaneously) – or else you can be waiting around for a long time for your single number to hit. If you do this for 10 or more states for example, you should see a hit every week or two.
